Old Faithful and Friends: Cleaning Up Montana, One Piece of Trash at a Time

Updated: 1 day ago

At Old Faithful and Friends Tours & Shuttles, we love showing off the beauty of Montana, but we also love keeping it beautiful. That's why we roll up our sleeves and get down to business with litter clean-ups across the state, from Yellowstone to Bozeman and the Gallatin Valley. Because let's face it, who wants to see a mountain of garbage when there's a mountain of beauty around?

Where We Clean: From Yellowstone to Bozeman (and Everywhere in Between)

  • Yellowstone National Park: We clean up around major sites, trails, and campsites to keep this iconic park looking like the postcard it is.

  • Bozeman: Our clean-up crew loves Bozeman, so we hit the parks, streets, and trails to keep it looking fresh.

  • Gallatin Valley: This valley is huge and gorgeous, and we’re here to keep it that way.

  • Big Sky: Ski slopes? Check. Hiking trails? Check. Big Sky’s beauty deserves to stay that way.

  • Three Forks: This charming little town is part of Montana’s heart, and we’re cleaning it up one step at a time.

  • Gardiner: We love this gateway to Yellowstone, and we’re keeping it clean so everyone can enjoy its charm.

  • West Yellowstone: Right next to the park, we make sure this town stays beautiful for all who visit.

  • All Over Montana: No place is safe from our clean-up crew. We tackle litter across the state, one piece at a time.

Where Your Donations Go:

We promise we don’t spend your donations on fancy office chairs. Here's what we do with it:

  1. Trash Bags: To, you know, pick up the trash.

  2. Gloves

  3. Water: Hydration is key.

  4. Trash Grabbers: So we don’t have to bend over every two seconds.

  5. Lunch: Volunteers need fuel (and maybe a snack break).

  6. A Beer: After a long day of picking up trash, who wouldn’t want a cold one?
